Elengi (Mimusops elengi). My trip this year coincided with Elengi flowering season. Every morning I would go out and collect the fallen flowers and enjoy the fragrance. My cousin Molly has a large and productive tree and she gave me a beautiful Elengi garland. The tree in my parents' yard is too tall and blocked by other trees and therefore prevented me from getting a picture.
